You know what bothers me? Quotes like this one:
"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction." It doesn't take genius or courage to make things smaller, less complex, and less violent. It takes an aluminum bat. I can uncomplexify the hell out of a computer with a bat. I can definitely make a Soviet sleeper agent less violent. And you bet your ass I can make something smaller... well, the individual pieces at least. I hate quotes which sort of sound intelligent, but on any investigation turn out to have no real meaning. cranked out at 11:33 AM | |
