SportsmanwhateverI've never really understood the idea of letting the game stay close for "sportsmanship" in the pros. Even in major college sports like football. Someone posted on their site about this, still don't get it. Though the game he specifically cites is a very bad example. None of the Suns starters played more than 30 minutes, and none of the starters took over 14 shots. James Jones, their seventh man, was the high scorer on 6-12 from 3, and 8-16 overall. Their whole bench, other than the two injured, played. Nearly nine of out ten available players scored in double digits. No offense to Juan Dixon or Steve Blake, but uh, the Blazers just blow. cranked out at 8:59 AM | |
